C. Shakur Details Two Previously Unknown Meetings with Farmaajo.

Tuesday, 06 Oct 2020- Abdirahman A. Warsame, the leader of the Wadajir opposition party has for the first time given more details about meetings he said he had with President Farmajo. These meetings at different times come at a time of heightened political turmoil in Somalia, and the country is entering an election period.

In an exclusive interview with Dalsan TV, Abdirahman said that President has met only twice since he was elected as a president. He noted that the two meetings took place after President was elected to his current post, specifically in February 2017.

Abdirahman Abdishakur is one of the politicians who strongly criticize current government policies. Earlier, an armed mob stormed his home, killing six of his bodyguards. This has become a mystery to the government, which has openly dared the killing of young Somalis in order to silence the opposition.

The first meeting between Abdirahman and Farmajo took place at the Jazeera Hotel, at the invitation of the president, and was marked by congratulations and advice, he said.

“I told the president that the Somali people were very happy and welcoming; "Your election has created more hope than your ability or the strength of the Somali government. My biggest recommendation is to lower the expectations of the people," said A. Abdishakur. He added that he did not think that Farmajo would behave like that on that day, and that he did not expect the current administration, which has been obstructing the progress of Somalia for four years

He also said their second meeting came as the President was looking for a new prime minister to work with, which took place at the presidential palace.

He added that the president had told him at the time that he did not expect to be elected to the country's top post, noting that he was relying on a small number of lawmakers, he said. He added that the Somali government now needs to be saved and rebuilt, and saved from a government of peace and life.

Ignoring these recommendations, Farmajo has been leading the country for three years in a divisive and law-breaking policy. Checks and balances were lost after the presidency took over the powers of the various government agencies, which were tasked with balancing different national branches. It is clear that the government of Peace and Life has used their own interests of all government institutions such as intelligence, finance and the parliament.

NB. Peace and Life is the nickname of the existing Government.

Al Gore has history of climate predictions, statements proven false

Noted climate activist and former Vice President Al Gore, who made headlines this week after he claimed   global warming was "boiling the oceans,"   has a history of making climate-related proclamations later proven to be false. During remarks made Wednesday at the  World Economic Forum summit  in Davos, Switzerland, Gore warned that continued carbon emissions into the atmosphere would destroy the planet and lead to widespread calamities. "We’re still putting 162 million tons [of greenhouse gas] into it every single day and the accumulated amount is now trapping as much extra heat as would be released by 600,000 Hiroshima-class atomic bombs exploding every single day on the earth," Gore said. "That’s what’s boiling the oceans, creating these atmospheric rivers, and the rain bombs, and sucking the moisture out of the land, and creating the droughts, and melting the ice and raising the sea level, and causing these waves of climate refugees." Gore then not

Syria's alleged drug traffickers are warned via SMS messaging

Text messages advising against engaging in the illegal trade have started to arrive for drug traffickers working along Jordan's southern border with Syria. Nine days had passed after a smuggler had been murdered in a strange airstrike in southern Syria when the alerts were sent. “We recognize you. Your every step is being observed.” According to a claimed transcript of the texts made available by the Suwayda24 network of citizen journalists in southern Syria, "Your meetings are being watched." Jordan is looking to work with Damascus to stop the flow of narcotics because it serves as a major conduit for what Arab authorities characterize as a multibillion-dollar trade in the amphetamine known as Captagon. The 360-kilometer border between Jordan and Syria is regularly used to smuggle captagon tablets, and the trade has been expanding since 2018. The majority of the southern region of Syria was retaken by the Syrian military from rebels backed by Arab and western
