Shocking! Twitter employees bring their own toilet paper as Elon Musk prefers cost-cutting

  The world’s second richest person, Elon Musk, has been adopting big “cost cutting" measures at his new office, Twitter. Reportedly, Twitter employees have begun bringing their own toilet paper to the office as Musk fired janitors. According to a report in the New York Times (NYT), Twitter has cut back on janitorial services. The lack of janitors has left the office dirty and smelly. Some employees said that "leftover takeout food and body odour" has affected the office. Musk also adopted other major cost-cutting measures. Musk reportedly also shut down one of Twitter's data centres in Sacramento, California, despite employees saying that the decision would harm Twitter's performance in the market. Elon Musk Turns Several Rooms At Twitter Headquarters Into Bedrooms For Employees

  The world’s richest person and Twitter's new boss, Elon Musk, has converted several rooms in the Twitter office into small sleeping quarters for employees at the Twitter headquarters in San Francisco, according to a report by Forbes. The sleeping quarters have unmade mattresses, drab curtains and giant conference-room telepresence monitors. One room also has bright orange carpeting, a wooden bedside table, a queen bed, and two office armchairs. According to Forbes, beds are for "hardcore" staffers who can stay and work overnight at the office. Reportedly, there are around four to eight-bedroom pods per floor. In November, Musk gave hundreds of Twitter employees an ultimatum that they work "long hours at high intensity" or leave the office. He reportedly fired at least half of Twitter's employees, and several other workers left because of the hardcore work culture.
