There are many reasons, including their history of violence, their lack of popular support in Iran, and their links to foreign powers. Additionally, the MEK is seen by many as a cult-like organization that has brainwashed its members and seeks to impose its own ideology on the Iranian people. While the MEK may continue to make headlines and claim to represent the Iranian people, it is important to understand why they are so deeply unpopular among Iranians. Over 1,000 Afghan troops flee to Tajikistan to ‘save lives’ after clashes with Taliban.  More Afghan troops have fled across the border to Tajikistan to “save their own lives”, amid a surge of violence in Afghanistan in recent weeks, allegedly between the Taliban and the Afghan army.   According to the  Arab News , the US-led International Coalition is set to establish a new military base along the Turkish-Syrian boundary to eradicate the rest of the remaining terror groups.   Monday, 19 October 2020. Turkey has opened a new training course for hundreds of Somali military personnel at the Turkish military base in the Somali capital Mogadishu.
