The Prime Minister of the Federal Republic of Somalia Mohamed Hussein Roble today received in his office the Special Representative of the Secretary-General for Somalia, Ambassador James Swan. During the meeting, the two leaders discussed issues such as elections, security and international cooperation in Somalia. The meeting comes after James Swan said the international community's wishes were not wanted in Somalia. The ambassador pointed out that the current elections in Somalia are not in the interest of Somali people and the way forward, and that the international community wanted transparent and credible elections.
