Situation in Horn of Africa destabilizes as Ethiopia confirms its troops moving towards Tiagrayan capital

  Ethiopia might see some serious complications in coming days as the officials make their stand clear against the rebel forces and confirm that they will be sending troops to look over the Tigrayan capital on Tuesday. The conflict that shook the horn of Africa lasted for a whole of two weeks now and it has not only impacted the African continent but also the world. The Prime Minister of the country Abiy Ahmed said, “The final critical act of law enforcement will be done in the coming days.” Yesterday, Ethiopia included a special task force to control the situation which arose earlier this month. The task forces have accused the rebel groups of doing a lot of infrastructure damages especially targeting bridges connecting the regional capital Mekelle with the rest of the country to restrict the movement of the federal forces and stop any attempt of controlling their activities. DENI ‘rejects Ethiopia’s plan to support Farmaajo.

  Monday, 09 November, 2020. Puntland State President Said Abdullahi Deni has reportedly rejected a plan presented by Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed during a recent visit to the Ethiopian capital. Abbiy Ahmed called on the President of Puntland to support and be a major part of the campaign for the re-election of President Farmajo. Deni, one of Farmajo's main rivals in the regional states presidents, opposed the plan, and rejected the offer. The President last week traveled to Addis Ababa in Ethiopia on Tuesday with Abiy Ahmed, who spoke about the election and the agreement reached last month, as well as rebuffed the offer.   Rashid Abdi, a Kenyan resident and commentator on the Horn of Africa politics, in a statement posted on his twitter to express the disapproval of Deni, saying "President Deni had rejected Abiye Ahmed's proposal to support Farmajo". Turkey and Iran want to play a role in Africa

  Sunday, 20, Sept 2020. Turkey and Iran are preparing to play a political, military and ideological role in Africa. Although Iran and Turkey have differing views of the region, they now appear to be close friends and allies to play an important economic,   political and mostly military role in Africa. Iran is striving to become the most powerful state in the Middle East in terms of military,   science and technology. Turkey, which is currently expanding its presence in the Middle East and Africa, appears to be playing a key role in establishing military bases in Africa and becoming the most influential country in the Indian Ocean and East Africa in particular.   Turkey has a large presence in Somalia and has military bases in many parts of Africa. The friendship between Iran and Turkey appears to be a military one and they are taking part in the revolt in the Red Sea and the coasts of North Africa.
