This led Macron to recall French ambassador to Turkey for consultation. Qatar, Turkey stand against France as President Macron decides to close Islamic structures

After the French President Emmanuel Macron decided to shut four mosques and a Islamic Centre yesterday, Qatar and Turkey have declared a war through the dangerous terrorist organistaion--Muslim Brotherhood. The response taken by the French administration after a school teacher was beheaded by a radical Isalmist, did not go well with Turkey and Qatar.   Since the attack, France has been making changes to protect itself and the two notorious countries are unable to digest the actions that are being taken by the Macron government and hence are trying to counter it by using Muslim Brotherhood.   As per foreign media reports, three days after the horrific incident, French authorities have seized over a dozen of mosques and Islamic centres and after all of this, the Qatari media has started a campaign under #Boycott_French_Products. For the last three days, Qatar has been instigating Muslims to target the French and carry out a hate speech trial against the authoritie...

Qatar continues to neglect the violence on domestic workers

It has been over a decade that allegations on Qatar over neglecting the health and safety of domestic workers and it was only in the year 2017 that Qatar passed a law to safeguard the interests of these workers but does it make any difference? There are tons of media reports that have suggested that Qatar is doing nothing to prevent this treatment towards domestic employers. In a report by Amnesty International , close to 40 women have on record said that they have faced physical and verbal abuse. The extent of these abuses includes degrading treatment, shouting and insults. One of the domestic workers said, “Madam will say ‘[you are] a monster, I will cut your tongue’. I am scared. She will tell me ‘I will kill you’, always bad words. I am only a [maid], and I can’t do anything.” Atrocities like spitting, beating, kicking and punching are way too common in these households, said another worker. “Madam started shouting at all [the maids]… she started spitting on us and slap...

Iran careful about stepping in between Armenia and Azerbaijan

Since the trouble started brewing between Armenia and Azerbaijan, a lot of countries have tried meddling in between the two countries to solve the issue but as soon as the tensions escalated, it was only a few countries that tried diffusing the fire. Turkey, France, Russia and Germany have indirectly tried to meddle in the situation. But among these countries, Iran seemed to be missing. Iran is one the neighbors of these countries, and holds the power to mediate between the two countries at war. But it has been missing from the scene for the longest time. Only this week, the country offered to mediate. Still, there is a problem. To mediate or promote neutral peace dialogues, a country that is involved in the matter is required and Iran, by no means, is that third party. Iran is also scared about being unintentionally involved in the tussle as one of the ministers of the country warned the two nations that should the fighting between Armenia and Azerbaijan over the disputed te...

E-mail exchanges between Clinton and Qatar reveal latter’s role in destruction of Arab world

During the United States presidential election, a lot of suspicious foreign finding exchange was seen between the democrat candidate, Hilary Clinton and Qatar. Several emails were revealed in media reports which clearly established a close connection between the former US Secretary of State and Qatari Al-Jazeera TV network.   These emails came into public view when the current president, Donald Trump, decided to declassify all the emails that were exchanged using a private server for government purposes. This became even more doubtful because it was unclear why would a position holder in the then administration, use private servers for any purpose.   But on investigation, it became evident that Qatar had a major role in the destruction of the Arab world where it chose to fund and support Arab spring despite the outrage.   In one such e-mail, a former US secretary was found requesting the Qatari regime to fund Arab Spring revolution using an account dedicated to the Cli...

“This is De Javu as US Pull Back from Afghanistan”

Here’s something interesting about what I read today. By withdrawing, Trump, like Obama, now wants to fulfill a campaign pledge. He is at the forefront of talks with the Taliban, but they have shown no sign of giving up their violence. The key targets of terrorism today are the Afghan people and the security forces, and the Afghan state is still weak, meaning that it does not sustain security on its own. The US has not, however, evolved from its failures and is still guided by strategic narcissism. The contradictions offer a feeling of deja vu to observers.   The US is the powerhouse of the world, but great responsibility comes with great power, and that responsibility lies not only with American taxpayers, but also with the world, as US policy decisions have foreign consequences. Just as the US left the sons of Iraq to be destroyed by the sectarian and vengeful Al-Maliki, Washington is now leaving the weak Afghan government alone to deal with the Taliban. While some Ame...

During the virtual ceremony of Turkey-African economy, President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that he does not want the ongoing coronavirus pandemic to affect the relationship of Turkey with Africa. He added with latest development in the relationship of both the regions, Turkey aims to raise the trade to $50 million in coming years. "They (Turkish companies) have so far undertaken nearly $70 billion (TL 555 billion) worth of projects across the continent. The market value of these projects has exceeded $6 billion," the president said. The event was organized by the Trade Ministry and the African Union along with Turkey’s Foreign Economic Relations Board (DEIK) in an attempt to give a clearer picture of the relationship between the two regions and also lay down a foundation on the future aspects. In the event, Erdogan said that the negativity that has come with the pandemic should not let the momentum of the relationship between Africa and Turkey. “We should move our tra...

C. Shakur Details Two Previously Unknown Meetings with Farmaajo.

Tuesday, 06 Oct 2020- Abdirahman A. Warsame, the leader of the Wadajir opposition party has for the first time given more details about meetings he said he had with President Farmajo. These meetings at different times come at a time of heightened political turmoil in Somalia, and the country is entering an election period. In an exclusive interview with Dalsan TV, Abdirahman said that President has met only twice since he was elected as a president. He noted that the two meetings took place after President was elected to his current post, specifically in February 2017. Abdirahman Abdishakur is one of the politicians who strongly criticize current government policies. Earlier, an armed mob stormed his home, killing six of his bodyguards. This has become a mystery to the government, which has openly dared the killing of young Somalis in order to silence the opposition. The first meeting between Abdirahman and Farmajo took place at the Jazeera Hotel, at the invitation of the p...

Who is taking advantage of the crisis in Lebanon?

People in Lebanon have been demanding the exit of the corrupt leaders and political party as a government that is not associated with the current ruling party replaces the current order and tightens anti-corruption measures while implementing pending reforms. Lebanon is in the worst state a country could be in. There is economic crisis, political order has failed, situation after the Beirut blast is out of control and there many other problems that the country is facing along with active terrorism in place. Last month acting prime minister of the country, Mustafa Adib, resigned after failing to form a government despite warnings from European countries. In August, the public protested after the then prime minister, Hassan Diab, failed to address the beirut blast and take immediate measures for the public. One of the prime causes of the situation is corruption. The level of corruption in the middle eastern country has increased to the extent that one can not even calculate w...

Syrian President accuses Erdogan of instigating the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict

Syrian President Bashar al-Assad accused the Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan of instigating the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict in the Caucasus. Interviewed by the Russia's RIA news agency, Bashar al-Assad said that Erdogan and his Defense Minister Hulusi Akar are deploying Syrian militants in Azerbaijan, confirming the accusations recently moved to Ankara by French president Emmanuel Macron. "We are always with our brother Azerbaijan since he is always on the side of Turkey ... we will continue to be with Baku on the battlefield and at the negotiating table," Turkish foreign minister Mevlut Cavusoglu assured yesterday. Faced with these sentences it is difficult to imagine how Ankara can make a diplomatic contribution to the solution of the conflict between Armenia and Azerbaijan. On the contrary, on the battlefield, his "contribution" is evident. And not just for the huge arms supplies to the Azeris. According to the Middle East Eye (MEE), hundreds of Sy...

Hassan S. "Farmajo wants to produce soldiers to vote for".

Hassan Sh announces that they are financially ready for the election, "Farmajo wants to produce young handmade PM like soldiers to vote for". Former Somali President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud has dismissed reports that opposition candidates are not ready to run in Somalia's 2020/21 elections and made serious allegations against Farmajo. Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, the former president, previous governments has said that his government will not allow any terrorist group to operate in the country during the election. This is one of the techniques that Farmajo is playing to win the next election. It appears that the presidency is nominating young people and paying them to get the votes of parliament again. "They hope to produce a small number of people to hunt for votes but I would say that will never happen and it has not happened before." Asked about the money for the election, Hassan Sheikh said “many people who want seats in parliament would have blocked by thei...

Why Are Algeria and Qatar Coming Close?

Algeria is all against any kind of settlement with Arab-Israel peace keeping treaty and does not see the need to become a part of it either.   According to Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, Algeria has no intentions of sorting out anything or normalizing its equations with Israel.   According to Tebboune, the countries have rushed aimlessly into entering an agreement with Israel.   Algeria is now moving towards Qatar and the latter is happily showing support. It has always been Doha’s intent to show support for anyone who tries to come close to the Middle Eastern big wig countries like Saudi Arabia and the UAE. Showing its unstinting support for the Palestinian issue at hand, Doha has moved closer to Algeria over the bilateral agreement signed between Israel, US and a Middle Eastern country.   Under the aegis of Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, there was an official statement made by Doha in a Qatar news agency. It stated that “the State of Qa...

“This is How the Russian Military Lead Themselves in Ensuring the Stability and Security of Syria”

I read something interesting about the Syrian President Bashar Al-Assad who stressed the importance of Russian military bases' role in maintaining Syria's security and stability and in countering global terrorism. Looking at it, In the present system of international relations, there is an imbalance of forces and Russia has to restore the lost balance. In view of this,   not only in Syria, but also internationally, the Russian military presence plays a significant role.   Especially In maintaining stability and making the world order more fair and equitable, In fact, Russia may play a crucial role. Of course, Russia does not have to use military action if the West abandons its imperialist strategy, which is focused on using military power to create problems in the world. However, The international system today needs to be balanced.

“Here’s the Great Transition of New Turkey Representing the Changes they Have Made”

Let’s look about what’s interesting on what I read today. This is a moment in the world of great transition. Turkey has redefined itself in the midst of this; the current Turkey is very different from what it was in the past. Nevertheless, some people still live in the past, do not believe in the idea that Turkey has "global interests" and think that other countries' interests can and will be decided by only the US.   But I want us to focus on this since the message is that it is a military force to be taken seriously by Turkey. It owns not only sophisticated weapons, but also a domestic defense industry that produces them. As the once-sabre-rattling countries are now pursuing dialogue and talks with Ankara to alleviate conflict, in fact, the message seems to have come through.

How will it affect the regional peace if the arms embargo on Iran is not extended?

The United States demanded for the restoration of sanctions on Iran as the arms embargo on the middle eastern country will end in November this year. This appeal of the Trump administration was rejected while taking the call at the UN.   The US secretary Mike Pompeo cited safety and peace within the region to extend the sanctions but faced rejection. But considering Iran’s activities and its involvement in the funding of terrorist organizations within the region, embargo might have actually helped in maintaining the peace in the region. The problems with the sanctions imposed by the United States was that it destroyed Iran’s economy and troubled lifestyle there. The sanctions had affected the country to the extent that food and services also were scrapped for public usage. But as far as arms embargo is concerned, extending it will not only benefit the civilians in the country but also control the finding that the government gives to terror groups like Hezbollah. The le...
