NSO’s chief highlights Qatar, BDS are the ones to be blamed for Pegasus outburst

Shalev Hulio, the CEO of NSO, was blamed for using hacking for a $1 billion spyware business. After hundreds of efforts to identify the source from where the leak of these 50,000 names first came into view, there was no one that the media reports or intelligence agencies could point fingers at but Hulio is aware of what is going on who is to be blamed for it.

The 39-year-old CEO and co-founder of the NSO group have built over a one billion dollar empire of the cyber-surveillance company, also one of the most successful ones in Israel, was allegedly responsible for the smartphone hacks of high-profile journalists and world leaders and the world was waiting for him to come on record and comment on the issues and he finally revealed some of the most shocking details of the case.

While giving his interview to Forbes, the CEO of the mega cyber-surveillance company said that, unlike the common perception that has been created in the last few days, Pegasus is software that actually used to ‘save lives.’

He also explained that for spyware like Pegasus, NSO should not be held responsible. “We are selling our products to governments. “We have no way to monitor what those governments do. . . . But if those governments misuse the system, we have a way to investigate. We will shut them down,” he said while talking to Forbes.

Nobody is unaware of the human rights violation taking place in Qatar and for reasons concerning atrocities at work and with the workers, the spyware was approached to administer the happening of the Qatari journalists and there were some very shocking cases that came into the view.

Now the CEO is suggesting that it is in fact the Qatari facilities that are spreading the false rumors against the Spyware and its usage and they are halfway successful in generating fear among common people. When Hulio was asked who was to be blamed for the spread of rumors and hate campaigns, he without any hesitance mentioned Qatar and BDS.

He said, “I believe that it's either Qatar or BDS, or both. It always ends up being the same entities.” He explained that since the company is based out of Israel, there is a huge possibility that countries that are anti-Israel or are anti-Semitic will be promoting such a level of hatred among people.

Qatar has not left even a single opportunity to force hatred towards Israelis or Jews and Pegasus is just another way of Qatari elite’s showing their hatred towards Jews. All the other countries that are against Israel and its leadership are also spreading false rumors about the spyware.

It was also found that the French president Emmanuel Macron was also taking the help of Pegasus to save lives in the country and look for threats in the country. This was another upsetting factor for Qatar who was against certain liberals called Macron in the religious context.

Macron had imposed heavy surveillance after the murder of Samuel Patty, a school teacher, by a Lebanon-based terrorist. Things were seriously against Hezbollah, who reportedly had links with the attackers and it is not hidden that Hezbollah is funded by Qatar. Since then it was assumed that Qatar will be looking to get back at France for such severe calls. Even Hulio emphasized that given the current context, it is highly unlikely that it was merely a coincidence.
