Yemen Houthis use prisoners for political extortion, Analysis!

Amatusalam Al-Hajj head of the Yemeni Abductees' Mothers Association, said that Houthi rebels are using prisoners and abductees as a bargaining chip for political gains. They said them to release the prisoners without any condition.

He said on New Year’s Eve while talking with Al Araby Al Jadid that We are in 2023 but children are still suffering in Houthi prisons. He added that the prisoner exchange file is still pending between the various parties and the UN envoy's office and that from time to time, "we hear" from the Houthis and the government about delays, while our "sons suffer". are," and their families and mothers are suffering greatly."

Al-Haj said that the immediate release of all civilians is necessary because they are innocents, they never took part in wars or wars of guns. This was said after the  Houthis & Yemeni governments blamed one another. The exchange of prisoners under the Oman deal and the Stockholm Convention was completed in late 2018.

Abdul Qadir al-Murtada, head of the Houthi prisoners' last Thursday, blamed the Yemeni government. He said that Saudi Arabia does not want this happening, they are troubling it unnecessarily.

The Yemeni government retaliated against this statement and said to the Houthi's claim. They said they are ready to end this file as soon as possible.

But amid government skirmishes, prisoners and kidnappers are in trouble. They are inside the bars. And this is a pending issue between the government and the Houthis.

They need to settle the issue because of the humanistic approach. And the situation can be only controlled if they leave their egos apart and come forward mutually to solve the issue.

If this issue is sorted, then many innocent prisoners can go home where their families are awaiting!

Al Gore has history of climate predictions, statements proven false

Noted climate activist and former Vice President Al Gore, who made headlines this week after he claimed   global warming was "boiling the oceans,"   has a history of making climate-related proclamations later proven to be false. During remarks made Wednesday at the  World Economic Forum summit  in Davos, Switzerland, Gore warned that continued carbon emissions into the atmosphere would destroy the planet and lead to widespread calamities. "We’re still putting 162 million tons [of greenhouse gas] into it every single day and the accumulated amount is now trapping as much extra heat as would be released by 600,000 Hiroshima-class atomic bombs exploding every single day on the earth," Gore said. "That’s what’s boiling the oceans, creating these atmospheric rivers, and the rain bombs, and sucking the moisture out of the land, and creating the droughts, and melting the ice and raising the sea level, and causing these waves of climate refugees."
