What are the twists of Saudi policy for Afghans?

The stakes are high in post-occupation Afghanistan by members of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), such as Saudi Arabia and Qatar. The Afghan crisis always troubles the Gulf Arab states.

Though the world is not ready to establish diplomatic relations Saudi is moving slowly in the direction to establish ties with Afghan countries that are aware of the reality of the Taliban and how they captured it in August 2021. So they should deal with the ground situation. Afghanistan is primarily a security and humanitarian concern subject for Saudi.

Let’s See How The Chain Is Changing Between Saudi And Afghanistan.

The main reason behind it the Security concerns, it has been increasing Saudi engagement with Afghanistan. On the other hand, history shows that the different goals reflect the continuous evolution of its strategic priorities.

The world had seen Saudi Arabia present itself as a deterrent to the communist’s atheistic claims after when USSR attacked Afghan in 1979.

In the region of Greater Central Asia after September 11, 2001, the Saudi country worked to maintain and preserve the will of the Islamic Republic of Iran All of this predates the influence of al-Qaeda. In area.

Now Saudi's change in Afghan policy says a lot about the country's changing strategic priorities and change in foreign policy. Though since 2010 Saudi has been in the bad books of the Afghans and the people of Afghan also never believed in Saudi. In decades of interference in the country's affairs and the kingdom's isolation from Afghan politics, large swaths of the Afghan political spectrum grew increasingly distrustful of Saudi Arabia's ambitions.

Saudi Arabia began traveling with Afghanistan in the wake of MBS in 2017. Saudi Arabia has adopted a semi-open anti-Taliban policy. They distanced themselves from their Ex-group by aligning a radical version of Islam with its more moderate Islam. I remember the Organization of Islamic Cooperation summit in 2017 which was hosted by Saudi. More than 40 countries criticized the Taliban policies and religious means.

The Saudi continues to exercise relevant leadership through Islamic intergovernmental organizations, such as the OIC and the Islamic Development Bank (ISDB), for its national benefit.

But at the same time, Saudi never established a direct relationship with the Taliban, they used OIC and IsDB as a medium.

From 2021 after the Taliban reached Afghanistan, the Saudis always pressured the OIC and IsDB members to help the people in the Taliban. They always raised the issue of human rights and played a major role. In February 2022 With the thinking of giving relief to the Afghan population ISDB approved the establishment of the Afghanistan Humanitarian Trust Fund. In March 2022, the OIC appointed the new Director-General in Kabul and inaugurated it in mid-November 2022. The opening ceremony was held by Taliban officials, Afghan Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs Amir Khan Muttaki, and representatives of major international organizations.

But apart from the recent help from Saudi to Afghan, Afghanistan still had not forgotten the bad memories with Saudi Arabia. But the Saudis is not want to engage with the Taliban, instead have been taking these actions toward humanitarian goals.

The Saudis are confident in leading the OIC and the ISDB, but at the same time, Riyadh has sought to pursue its Afghan policy through a leadership approach from behind.

Al Gore has history of climate predictions, statements proven false

Noted climate activist and former Vice President Al Gore, who made headlines this week after he claimed   global warming was "boiling the oceans,"   has a history of making climate-related proclamations later proven to be false. During remarks made Wednesday at the  World Economic Forum summit  in Davos, Switzerland, Gore warned that continued carbon emissions into the atmosphere would destroy the planet and lead to widespread calamities. "We’re still putting 162 million tons [of greenhouse gas] into it every single day and the accumulated amount is now trapping as much extra heat as would be released by 600,000 Hiroshima-class atomic bombs exploding every single day on the earth," Gore said. "That’s what’s boiling the oceans, creating these atmospheric rivers, and the rain bombs, and sucking the moisture out of the land, and creating the droughts, and melting the ice and raising the sea level, and causing these waves of climate refugees." Gore then not

Saudi Arabia can import halal Kobe beef from Japan

Japan is now the third nation authorized to export beef to the Muslim world, along with Saudi Arabia. At a signing ceremony, Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Sultan Al-Saud and Tomoshige Kanzawa, president of the Kobe Beef Marketing and Distribution Promotion Association, confirmed the certification for the Kingdom. In Saudi Arabia, beef can only be consumed if it has been processed in accordance with religious regulations and is marked as halal.
