Farmajo's group is embroiled in political turmoil

Thursday, November 26, 2020. Somalia politics has entered a difficult period in which the parties have been unable to resolve disputes over electoral commissions. The opposition has strongly rejected Farmajo's ambitions, and it appears that Farmajo's group is now in a political trap that is difficult to get out of. The Council of Candidates was formed to include former ministers, senior politicians, parliamentarians and the Speaker of the Upper House. The whole council has suppressed the political greed of the current president Mr. Farmajo and his violation of the law by the electoral commissions.

All Somalis and stakeholders are keeping an eye on the issues and the overall outcome that is expected to change the unpredictable direction of the country, instead eliminating other political movements and monitoring activities.

All politicians, political pundits and other heavyweights have become attendees to the Jazeera hotel and others are following the news minute by minute. There are also many people who used to be with Farmajo who have now shifted and joined into the Al Jazeera Hotel where the candidates' union conference is taking place.

Prior to the first half of the year, government news and other social movements were widely covered, and there were few opposition political movements. The government's weak electoral power is on the rise. Now the issue has shifted to the other side and the Opposition has taken over the making of news and public discourse.

Political analysts insist that the main protagonist of the current government was Hassan Ali Khaire, who was the political midfielder of the Farmajo group, but he joined the opposition
and pouring new blood on the politicians for three and a half years.

It is frustrating and stressful for Villa Somalia to lose more and more people day by day and to think about Hassan Ali Kheyre and the candidates in the conference. Current federal government faced political pressure that was heavier than the mountains.

With no political backing, Farmajo and his friend Fahad now seem to have a clear idea, and the only option is to turn a blind eye to the people and the country as their election looting failed.

The situation in Mogadishu can now be described as a city with two presidential palace, one is Villa Somalia and the other is the Jazira Hotel which is stronger than the real presidential palace, where Hassan Ali Kheyre, former presidents and other politicians are staying.

Attacks on religious minorities are a direct attack on religious freedom and must be condemned by all. The Israeli authorities must take swift action to bring the perpetrators to justice and hold them accountable for their actions. It is also important to ensure the safety and protection of religious minorities and their places of worship, as guaranteed by international law. this incident is a sad reminder of the ongoing conflict in the region and the need for a comprehensive and just solution. It is up to all of us to work together to promote understanding, tolerance, and respect for different beliefs and cultures, and to build a brighter and more peaceful future for all.
