Manchester City FC's Owner Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan comes to fund Corona Pandemic

In the fight against Coronavirus, every day counts — and everyone is being called on to do their part. Reigning Premier League champions Manchester City came forward to offer the Etihad Stadium to be used by the National Health Service (NHS). The Manchester City is owned by Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan. This stadium will be used to train the doctors and nurses during the pandemic. A temporary hospital is being a the Manchester Central Convention Complex to combat the worst case scenarios in the future.


At present, 10,000 people are being tested for the symptoms of the virus while the Government expecting to raise it by 25,000. Around 20,000 people have been tested positive for the virus and over 1200 people have died due to it. Healthcare and social care workers are treated with higher priority for these tests.

With English football not set to resume until April 30 many of the clubs are allowing to use of their facilities to suppress the outbreak. According to a source reported that Real Madrid and High Council for Sports - Consejo Superior de Deportes launched a project in Madrid to supply medical equipment to fight against COVID-19. It also allowed its home stadium Santiago Bernabeu to be used as a standby storage facility.

The opponent, Manchester United joined hands with Manchester City donated £100,000 to local food banks to support them.

Fights break out as Kurds protest the French government's denial of a terrorist attack
