Puntland President imposes strict conditions on the appointment of Electoral Commissions and Farmajo faces political turmoil.

Sunday, December 13, 2020. Farmajo sent Prime Minister Roble to Puntland to persuade President Deni to accept the government's plan, and to appoint election commissions. This attempt, which was the last attempt of the Federal Government to seek the approval of the appointed election commissions, ended in failure, and Deni openly rejected Farmajo's offer.

The Prime Minister of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Mohamed H Roble, has arrived in Garowe, the capital of Puntland State of Somalia. Roble's plans were to discuss Deni with the disputed electoral commissions.

The Prime Minister, Mr. Roble, has called on the President of Puntland to appoint the required members of the Electoral Commission. However, President Deni linked the appointment of the commission to two conditions: resolving the Gedo issue, which the federal government and the Jubbaland administration are at loggerheads over.

President Deni also wants a review of the controversial election commission appointed by the federal government and eliminating the members of the security forces and civil servants who cannot be neutral in the elections.

According to sources close to the Puntland presidency, Prime Minister Roble and President Deni appear to be in a dilemma and neither side wants to compromise.

Prime Minister Roble appears to be facing the toughest test since taking office and the prime minister wants to complete the pending election commission in Puntland and Jubbaland.

However, Farmajo and his prime minister are facing the most difficult hours of Farmajo's tenure and growing political tensions, which have prevented Farmajo from sleeping, as the leaders of Puntland and Jubaland still refuse to appoint electoral commissions.

“Iraq is Utilizing What They Have Right Now”

Here’s something good that I want to share with what I read today. It’s about  how Iraq utilizes a decentralized arrangement of administration, the Gulf countries and their organizations can investigate such financial possibilities with different individual Iraqi governorates, directed by the national government. This can likewise make a sound rivalry among Iraqi governorates to offer better costs and more good arrangements with Gulf organizations, as the two sides advantage. For me, Iraq needs huge monetary and monetary support. Monetary guide bundles can just reduce some tension on the present moment. Aside from Iran, there is insignificant territorial interest in Iraq's private area. Tehran's interest in Iraq has not given remarkable monetary advantages, for the most part because of authorizations. Inlet countries ought to investigate Iraq as a feasible competitor for their business ventures, and they can even use Jordan as a middle person to shape a solid financial ternio...
