India Prefers Russia Over America As Military Partner

Turkey is not the only one to invite the US wrath as much as India is as it agreed to by the S-400 missile system from Russia last year. Soon, the US had threatened India with sanctions for choosing its arch rival over itself for military sales. But India will receive its first shipment of the missile systems in 2021 at the cost of rubbing Washington the wrong way.

India has made a purchase deal of $5 billion in 2018. Speaking at the Defense Expo that concluded in India recently, Deputy Director of the Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation (FSMTC), Vladimir Drozhzhov has confirmed that “The contract is being implemented on schedule. The first shipment is due by the end of 2021.”

In November 2019 as well, the same agency cited the general director of Russian state arms exporter Rosoboronexport, Alexander Mikheev, as saying deliveries would start in September 2021.

Turkey also went and changed course when it shook hands with Russia over a similar deal in July 2019. As Ankara moved closer to sign off the deal with Moscow, Washington withdrew its joint F-35 stealth fighter jet programme after realizing Turkey was keener to do business with Russia than its long standing ally the United States.
America acted like a spoilt child who didn’t know how to get its way with Turkey. Russia was then an opportunist and offered its Sukhoi  Su-35 fighter jets as well.

While Trump is busy gaining brownie points over what good he has done for the American economy, his diplomacy and relations with other nations has been of arm twisting economic politics, showing only semblance of leadership, completely lacking any in reality.

Al Gore has history of climate predictions, statements proven false

Noted climate activist and former Vice President Al Gore, who made headlines this week after he claimed   global warming was "boiling the oceans,"   has a history of making climate-related proclamations later proven to be false. During remarks made Wednesday at the  World Economic Forum summit  in Davos, Switzerland, Gore warned that continued carbon emissions into the atmosphere would destroy the planet and lead to widespread calamities. "We’re still putting 162 million tons [of greenhouse gas] into it every single day and the accumulated amount is now trapping as much extra heat as would be released by 600,000 Hiroshima-class atomic bombs exploding every single day on the earth," Gore said. "That’s what’s boiling the oceans, creating these atmospheric rivers, and the rain bombs, and sucking the moisture out of the land, and creating the droughts, and melting the ice and raising the sea level, and causing these waves of climate refugees." Gore then not
