Great Pyramid, also known as the Great Pyramid of Giza, is
located in Al Haram, Nazlet El-Semman, Al Giza Desert, Giza Governorate in the
Arab Republic of Egypt. It is the tomb of the Fourth Dynasty Pharaoh Khufu. The
largest Egyptian pyramid is the oldest of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient
World. It is the oldest and the tallest of the three pyramids.
In the 1990s, Khafre and Menkaure pyramids suggested that
the pyramids were built by labourers. They used to eat a meat-rich diet.
Further analysis of the workers' remains showed that they received various
medical treatments.
Some researchers said that the ancient Egyptians built the
pyramids. Researchers believe it was built over 4,500 years ago. They also
believe that 30,000 Egyptian labourers built the pyramid for three different
Pharaohs. The Greek historian Herodotus said that 100,000 men took 20 years to
build the Great Pyramid at Giza. Three pyramids were built at Giza over the
span of three generations by the rulers Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure.
Scientists always wonder how Egyptians had the people and
resources to build something so wondrous. Some people believe that aliens built
the pyramid. However, there’s not enough evidence to support these claims.
What researchers found in Egypt's
Great Pyramid?
People around the world want to know what’s inside the Great
Pyramid. Reportedly, the Fourth Dynasty Pharaoh Khufu is buried under the tomb.
It is believed that the Pyramid has various hidden chambers. In March of this
year, Egypt discovered a hidden chamber inside one of the Great Pyramids at
Giza. Researchers are still learning about the mystery behind the Great
Pyramid.
In 2017, researchers found the 153-foot-long and
26-foot-tall corridor inside the great pyramid. Egyptologist Yukinori Kawae
said, “There have been many hypotheses about the pyramid, but no one even
imagined that such a big void is located above the Grand Gallery.”
