Johnny Depp Not Returning As Captain Jack Sparrow In Pirates Of The Caribbean

Hollywood actor Johnny Depp is always in the limelight. Recently, reports have emerged that Depp will be returning as Captain Jack Sparrow in Pirates Of The Caribbean. However, another source has claimed that Depp will not be returning to the Pirates franchise. So, is he coming back as Captain Jack Sparrow in Pirates of the Caribbean or not?

Reportedly, Depp was fired from the film when his ex-wife Amber Heard accused him of domestic violence. When Depp won the defamation trial earlier this year, things started to become normal for the actor. Many sources claimed that Depp accepted the offer to return as Captain Jack Sparrow.

Earlier, The Sun reported that Depp would return as Captain Jack Sparrow in Pirates Of The Caribbean. A source told The Sun, “Johnny is set to return as Captain Jack Sparrow. Depp is expected to do a test shoot in 2023.”

However, DailyMail reported that Depp would not return as Captain Jack Sparrow in the Pirates franchise.

Depp has won a Golden Globe Award and a Screen Actors Guild Award for his acting. His fan following also increased after the defamation trial.

Depp and Heard's defamation trial ended in June 2022. The Virginia court ordered Heard to pay USD 10 million in compensatory damages and USD 5 million in punitive damages to Depp as she lost the defamation trial.

Depp sued his ex-wife for defamation over a 2018 op-ed in The Washington Post, where she revealed that she suffered due to domestic violence. She did not mention Depp’s name in the article. However, Depp’s lawyers said that the article falsely implied that she was abused by Depp in their marriage. In 2021, Heard also countersued Depp and demanded $100 million. When she lost the trial in 2022, she requested the court for a new trial. However, the court rejected Heard's demand.

Al Gore has history of climate predictions, statements proven false

Noted climate activist and former Vice President Al Gore, who made headlines this week after he claimed   global warming was "boiling the oceans,"   has a history of making climate-related proclamations later proven to be false. During remarks made Wednesday at the  World Economic Forum summit  in Davos, Switzerland, Gore warned that continued carbon emissions into the atmosphere would destroy the planet and lead to widespread calamities. "We’re still putting 162 million tons [of greenhouse gas] into it every single day and the accumulated amount is now trapping as much extra heat as would be released by 600,000 Hiroshima-class atomic bombs exploding every single day on the earth," Gore said. "That’s what’s boiling the oceans, creating these atmospheric rivers, and the rain bombs, and sucking the moisture out of the land, and creating the droughts, and melting the ice and raising the sea level, and causing these waves of climate refugees."
