Does Elon Musk sleep with guns next to his bed?

The world’s richest person, Elon Musk, has shared a picture of what he keeps by the side of his bed. However, the picture has raised many questions. Two guns and a Diet Coke could be seen in the picture. Does Musk sleep with guns next to his bed?

Many social media users discussed two guns right next to his bed. Many users asked him if he keeps them close to him at night. However, it is not yet clear if the guns are functional or not.

A gun was placed in a wooden box with a painting of the American Revolutionary war. While sharing the picture, Musk wrote on Twitter, “There is no excuse for my lack of coasters.” His post came around 2 am local pacific time.

A Twitter user reportedly said, “Isn't this a RECKLESS marketing of weapons?” Another user wrote, “Why show weapons? Is it cool? It reminds me of Bolsonaro from Brazil.”

On Sunday, Musk officially completed 30 days of acquisition of the social media giant Twitter. On 26 October, Musk completed his $44 billion acquisition deal of the social media company. Subsequently, he fired 50 per cent of the Twitter employees. He also fired top executives of the country.

Earlier this month, Musk held an all-hands meeting with staff at Twitter’s San Francisco headquarters. During the meeting, he warned employees that the social media firm may lose billions of dollars next year. He also urged workers to work effectively in order to transform his new company into what he has called “Twitter 2.0.”

Musk had made a hostile bid to take over Twitter for a $44 billion deal in April, which meant he agreed to acquire the social media company for $54.20 a share.

Musk’s wealth has also seen a big loss this year. His wealth dipped to its lowest point in 2022 at around $170 billion.

Al Gore has history of climate predictions, statements proven false

Noted climate activist and former Vice President Al Gore, who made headlines this week after he claimed   global warming was "boiling the oceans,"   has a history of making climate-related proclamations later proven to be false. During remarks made Wednesday at the  World Economic Forum summit  in Davos, Switzerland, Gore warned that continued carbon emissions into the atmosphere would destroy the planet and lead to widespread calamities. "We’re still putting 162 million tons [of greenhouse gas] into it every single day and the accumulated amount is now trapping as much extra heat as would be released by 600,000 Hiroshima-class atomic bombs exploding every single day on the earth," Gore said. "That’s what’s boiling the oceans, creating these atmospheric rivers, and the rain bombs, and sucking the moisture out of the land, and creating the droughts, and melting the ice and raising the sea level, and causing these waves of climate refugees."
