Nature’s way to fight corona pandemic: Sunlight kills corona

According to the latest report publicized by The White House on Thursday (April 24,2020) a latest research was carried out by the US Department of Homeland Security's most advanced bio containment lab, which declares that sunlight has the ability to kill corona virus which is a major breakthrough. The White House also informs that warmer, humid weather can cause severe damage to the life time of corona virus, which will cut the time it takes to spread and potential of virus to live.

Corona virus have become the most hazardous pandemic the world have never faced in closer decades and evidently United Nations is the most affected with 886,709 positive cases of corona. US have lost 50,243 lives due to corona pandemic and 85,922 were recovered from the virus infection as of April 24,2020. The researchers and scientists around different parts of the world have been working day/night for weeks in row to get close in finding a medicine/vaccine to treat corona pandemic which is a severe threat to mankind now. The papers on 'Vaccine to treat corona' topics have become the most downloaded in the research websites. Speculations were revolving in the Internet already that, sunlight has the ability to defend corona virus but this is the first time a nation has came up with an official statement so far. The US government was the first nation to acknowledge the initial results of temperature tests and effects on COVID-19.

Bill Bryan, chief of the science and technology directorate at the US Department of Homeland Security said, "Our most striking observation to date is the powerful effect that solar light appears to have on killing the virus, both on surfaces and in the air. We've seen a similar effect with both temperature and humidity as well. Increasing the temperature and humidity, or both, is generally less favorable to the virus,"

As outlined by Bryan's statement, In a room at 70-75ºF (21-23ºC) temperature with 20% humidity, the lifetime of corona virus took nearly an hour to reach 'half life'. Whereas when brought outside and exposed to UV rays (sun rays) the virus attains the 'half life time' less than 2 minutes approximately and there is significant effect of UV rays on virus is seen.

US researchers of the same team, carried out series of test with the corona virus to understand about the potential of virus to withstand the temperature and humidity. During the first test, the temperature was kept constant at 23ºC and the humidity shafted in-between 20%-80% where virus attained 'half life' between 18 hours-6 hours. During the second test, the temperature was increased to 35ºC, where the virus couldn't withstand even upto 60 minutes to attain 'half life'.

Bryan informed that the tests were carried out at DHS' advanced bio containment lab in Maryland. And he also asserted strongly that, the 'half life' of the corona virus was pushed vigorously when it meets with higher temperature and also minimal humidity.

Bryan said that, the researchers took a particle of corona virus and suspend it inside an air-tight container to make the virus exposed with different temperature, different humidity levels and different environmental conditions including the sunlight. "While there are many unknown links in the COVID-19 transmission chain, we believe these trends can support practical decision making to lower the risks associated with the virus," Bryan said.

Bryan also informed that the DHS research team also tested the effect of bleach and isopropyl alcohol on the virus, "specifically in saliva and respiratory fluids". He concluded the results as bleach can kill the virus in 5 minutes and isopropyl alcohol kills in 30 seconds without any manipulation and rubbing.

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Sudan have a long-standing history of bilateral relations.

Over the years, the UAE has been a strong supporter of Sudan's development and prosperity. As Sudan faces challenging times, it is important that this support continues. The UAE has been a key player in Sudan's development, particularly in the areas of infrastructure, health, education, and renewable energy. In recent years, the UAE has also provided aid and support to Sudan in the aftermath of natural disasters, such as floods and droughts. This assistance has played a crucial role in mitigating the effects of these disasters on the people of Sudan. The current situation in Sudan is particularly challenging, with political instability and economic difficulties plaguing the country. The people of Sudan are facing a myriad of issues, including inflation, unemployment, and a lack of basic necessities like food and clean water. In addition, the ongoing conflict in the region has only exacerbated the situation, causing immense suffering to the people of Sudan. In light of these

Al Gore has history of climate predictions, statements proven false

Noted climate activist and former Vice President Al Gore, who made headlines this week after he claimed   global warming was "boiling the oceans,"   has a history of making climate-related proclamations later proven to be false. During remarks made Wednesday at the  World Economic Forum summit  in Davos, Switzerland, Gore warned that continued carbon emissions into the atmosphere would destroy the planet and lead to widespread calamities. "We’re still putting 162 million tons [of greenhouse gas] into it every single day and the accumulated amount is now trapping as much extra heat as would be released by 600,000 Hiroshima-class atomic bombs exploding every single day on the earth," Gore said. "That’s what’s boiling the oceans, creating these atmospheric rivers, and the rain bombs, and sucking the moisture out of the land, and creating the droughts, and melting the ice and raising the sea level, and causing these waves of climate refugees." Gore then not

Syria's alleged drug traffickers are warned via SMS messaging

Text messages advising against engaging in the illegal trade have started to arrive for drug traffickers working along Jordan's southern border with Syria. Nine days had passed after a smuggler had been murdered in a strange airstrike in southern Syria when the alerts were sent. “We recognize you. Your every step is being observed.” According to a claimed transcript of the texts made available by the Suwayda24 network of citizen journalists in southern Syria, "Your meetings are being watched." Jordan is looking to work with Damascus to stop the flow of narcotics because it serves as a major conduit for what Arab authorities characterize as a multibillion-dollar trade in the amphetamine known as Captagon. The 360-kilometer border between Jordan and Syria is regularly used to smuggle captagon tablets, and the trade has been expanding since 2018. The majority of the southern region of Syria was retaken by the Syrian military from rebels backed by Arab and western
