January 2023 Middle East And Some Exciting Project Launches


 It is a busy month for the construction industry, especially for the Middle East! January 2023 welcomed many new project launches, with the goal of sustainability the month witnessed million-dollar deals.

Pipelines projects, EV battery recycling facilities, carbon-neutral buildings, NEOM's first hotel at Aston Martin and Oxagon, and many more are in the pipeline for January 2023.

Construction Week Middle East narrowed down, detailing the unique features of some projects. Here are some EXCITING projects-

Modon Properties: Bab Al Nojoum - Batin Liwa Resort

It is the UAE-based master developer of sustainable communities. It has opened its new Abu Dhabi desert resort named Bab Al Nojoum - Bataan Liwa Resort. It is located in the heart of Liwa as its eco-tourism campsite destination.

This is designed for families and individuals who wish to reconnect with the natural landscape.

It is an Eco-Tourism destination that offers an exciting dessert experience.

BEEAH Recycling: UAE's first EV battery recycling facility

BEEAH Recycling has signed an agreement with the UAE and its Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure. The American University of Sharjah will help in setting up the first recycling plant for batteries from electric vehicles in the country.

This EV battery will be added to the BEEAH Recycling and further help in help management. Though the 76% waste diversion rate is managed with the help of Sharjah.

EV battery recycling facilities will help increase landfill waste diversion in the future as more EV batteries reach, and it is more affordable.

Emaar Development: View Point

It is a beautiful new location in the city with views from the Dubai Creek Harbour. The new focal point is the key element of the Dubai Creek Harbor master plan. Designed to blend seamlessly with its surroundings.

The 70-meter structure extends over Dubai Creek and cantilevers 26 meters above the water. It gives a beautiful scene in the bay towards Downtown Dubai and the Address Grand Twin Towers.

Yotel: NEOM, the first hotel in Oxagon

Yotel is a brand of hospitality and it is going to build an eye-seeking hotel in Saudi Arabia. It will open in 2025.

The Yotel property will also be the first hotel to open in Oxagon. It will have many advances and clean industries in Neom. The grand hotel will have 300 rooms, smart beds, and the latest technologies will be in it.

Village of Emirate: Development of Qidfa

It is a sustainable development model, HH Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has launched this project.

The development project in Qidfa will attract over 100,000 tourists every year, media will come here.

This will also include more than 50 programs, and for them over 200 youth will be collaborating after getting training.

Fights break out as Kurds protest the French government's denial of a terrorist attack
