Report reveals double the increase of attacks on Saudi by the Houthis in recent months

Saudi by the Houthis

As per a report recently published in Arab media, Houthi attacks on citizens of Saudi Arabia have seen an increase since last year. Houthi is an Iran backed militia group based out of Yemen and they have been targeting civilians and the attacks have reportedly doubled when compared to 2020.

The report was compiled by a US based think tank and it was shocking data for those dealing with Arab matters as Saudi Arabia has increased its security since a few months but the incidents highlight the angst Iran has against the Kingdom.

The Center for Strategic and International Studies in Washington also stressed that the United States should step in the matter and provide additional aid to defend the Kingdom so that it can effectively defend itself against the attack.

The report also highlighted that the core of such attacks lies with Iran interference in Houthi and Yemen affairs.

The CSIS report stated, “Iran and Ansar Allah have conducted a campaign of high-profile attacks against civilian Saudi Arabian and coalition targets in the Gulf.” It added that the Houthis are demonstrating an intense dislike for the civilians from Saudi and are participating in any and every campaign against the nation.

The behavior is reportedly against the countries who are well equipped in the defense sector. Like Saudi Arabia, there are other nations as well that have strong defense systems when you consider things like ballistic missiles, UAVs (unmanned aerial vehicles, commonly known as drones) and many other weapons and ammunition.

As per the compiled data, the CSIS claimed that there have been 4,103 attacks from within Yemen on the location which comes under Kingdom’s territory. The number of attacks carried out by the Houthis have increased per month in 2021 when compared to 2020.

Al Gore has history of climate predictions, statements proven false

Noted climate activist and former Vice President Al Gore, who made headlines this week after he claimed   global warming was "boiling the oceans,"   has a history of making climate-related proclamations later proven to be false. During remarks made Wednesday at the  World Economic Forum summit  in Davos, Switzerland, Gore warned that continued carbon emissions into the atmosphere would destroy the planet and lead to widespread calamities. "We’re still putting 162 million tons [of greenhouse gas] into it every single day and the accumulated amount is now trapping as much extra heat as would be released by 600,000 Hiroshima-class atomic bombs exploding every single day on the earth," Gore said. "That’s what’s boiling the oceans, creating these atmospheric rivers, and the rain bombs, and sucking the moisture out of the land, and creating the droughts, and melting the ice and raising the sea level, and causing these waves of climate refugees."
