Hamas continues to long for despotic power in Palestine regardless of the loss of human life

Extremist group Hamas has shown terrible longing for power in the region in recent days. Their sole purpose seems to be diverted towards extremism towards Jews and propagating hatred towards the community.

On various occasions, leaders of Hamas have agreed that they have strong repulsion towards jews and aim to finish them by any means. But initially, the group had expressed that their sole purpose was to liberate Palestinians and make a safer society for them, which is a complete contradiction from now as all they have done is put the lives of people at risk.

Earlier this month, Hamas leaders had thanked Iran for supplying weapons to Gaza. This brought the fact that Iran has been lending financial and strength based support to Hamas into view. Iran has been dunfing a lot of terrorist practices in the region which leads to the sacrifice of human life.

The lingering fear of violence, frequent attacks, limiting their movement among other things proves that the situation in Palestine is in terrible shape. Hamas has unofficially taken charge of the region and the views projected by the Hamas leaders have come out to be the views of the Palestinians but in reality, this is not the case.

The idea with which Hamas as a group operates in based on terrorism and opression. Considering one’s faith to be greater than others has always been the problem and Hamas comes from no different view. In general, everyone is in danger in Palestine.

The level of imitations and threats are far greater for women in the region. Not only their movement but their day-to-day freedom has also been snacthed under Hamas’s rule. In February, an Islamic court run by Hamas in the Gaza Strip had women in the region require their husbands permission to travel.

Restricting or putting an end on the voice of women was not accepted by the community. Many of the women came out protesting against the dangerous organisations call on their travel. The ruling also said that in case of an unmarried woman, the permission of her legal guardian, which would be her father, is required.

The Hamas leaders are not backing down from committing war crimes. In their spite against Israel and especially the Jews, they are trying to take advancathe of the civilians and are not restraining from committing heinous crimes. This is happening despite a law by the United Nations restricting attack on the civilians in any nature of the war.

WIth complete disregard for the civilians, the deadly organization is neglecting the call for humanitarian help in the region and from what it seems, is only focused on the power war. The situation in Gaza is beyond the control of people as even if they want, they are unable to be involved in crucial matters.

Most of the positions in the region are left empty. Despite Israel and western countries considering Hamas as a terror group, the region is governed by them. Yahya Sinwar is the present leader of Hamas and it is due to his ignorance that most of the population is deprived of basic amenities.

Even unemployment in Gaza is at an all time high. The workforce continues to shrink with over 43 percent of the people being unemployed as of 2020. According to the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics (PCBS), Gaza's unemployment rate stood at 43.1% in the final quarter of 2020.

With the strong presence of Hamas and their deadly behaviours in the region, it is no surprise that the region is witnessing such heinous war crimes. It is high time that the top governing organization continue to monitor actions of the Hams to ensure the safety of civilians.

In the afternoon, a number of protestors, largely from the Kurdish diaspora, got into a fight with the police outside the centre and in the streets close by, throwing rocks and torching trash cans. Police use...
