Venezuela stands up for the justice on whom the US had offered reward

There is only so much left with Venezuela to get hold of and with the United States’s continuous interference in its affairs, the country is suffering even more. But this time the South American country has spoken up.

America had offered $ 5million bounty as a reward for information leading to the arrest of the head of Venezuela’s high court, accusing the judge of taking bribes. The US secretary of state has accused Maikel Moreno, a close political ally of socialist President Nicolás Maduro, of receiving bribes in over 20 criminal and civil court cases

In retaliation, Venezuela on Wednesday blasted a $5 million US reward offer for information leading to the arrest of the country's Supreme Court president. The foreign ministry in a statement said that the US "disrespects the Supreme Court of Justice, in the person of its president, Maikel Moreno, through false accusations and the offer of rewards in the style of the cowboys and the wild and far west."

The Supreme Court president has been in the blacklist of the treasury department since 2017.The Supreme Court, known for its proximity to President Nicolas Maduro  in 2017 neutralized the country's only opposition-controlled branch of government, the National Assembly, declaring it in contempt and nullifying its decisions. Opposition leader, Juan Guaido, backed by the US, had declared himself acting president 18-months ago and since then the US imposed sanctions after sanctions on Venezuela in order to fully oust Maduro.

Since the time Venezuelan crisis had interested the Donald Trump administration, the already struggling population began a more miserable lifestyle. The only thing that had interested Trump for politics and power but the lives of Venezuelan population were at stake.  Nearly five million people have left the country, according to the migration group IOM -- nearly a fifth of its entire population. The ruling party’s drive to keep holding on the power and Trump’s efforts of sabotaging the economy has had a heavy toll on the people.

Even if the US wants its interests to be served, it will have to impose its decisions based on the future of the people in Venezuela and only then can they strive for balance and personal gains.

Al Gore has history of climate predictions, statements proven false

Noted climate activist and former Vice President Al Gore, who made headlines this week after he claimed   global warming was "boiling the oceans,"   has a history of making climate-related proclamations later proven to be false. During remarks made Wednesday at the  World Economic Forum summit  in Davos, Switzerland, Gore warned that continued carbon emissions into the atmosphere would destroy the planet and lead to widespread calamities. "We’re still putting 162 million tons [of greenhouse gas] into it every single day and the accumulated amount is now trapping as much extra heat as would be released by 600,000 Hiroshima-class atomic bombs exploding every single day on the earth," Gore said. "That’s what’s boiling the oceans, creating these atmospheric rivers, and the rain bombs, and sucking the moisture out of the land, and creating the droughts, and melting the ice and raising the sea level, and causing these waves of climate refugees." Gore then not

Syria's alleged drug traffickers are warned via SMS messaging

Text messages advising against engaging in the illegal trade have started to arrive for drug traffickers working along Jordan's southern border with Syria. Nine days had passed after a smuggler had been murdered in a strange airstrike in southern Syria when the alerts were sent. “We recognize you. Your every step is being observed.” According to a claimed transcript of the texts made available by the Suwayda24 network of citizen journalists in southern Syria, "Your meetings are being watched." Jordan is looking to work with Damascus to stop the flow of narcotics because it serves as a major conduit for what Arab authorities characterize as a multibillion-dollar trade in the amphetamine known as Captagon. The 360-kilometer border between Jordan and Syria is regularly used to smuggle captagon tablets, and the trade has been expanding since 2018. The majority of the southern region of Syria was retaken by the Syrian military from rebels backed by Arab and western
