14 members of Katai’b Hezbollah arrested in Iraq in battle power against Iran

Iran and Iraq have been the most unstable countries as far as the military is concerned and time and again these countries have challenged each other in the game of power. In the recent show of events, 14 members of Katai’b Hezbollah, backed by Iran, have been arrested by the Iraqui military force.

Katai’b Hezbollah is one of the strongest Shia armed factionedwithin the Hashed al-Shaabi,backed and established by Iran. In the overnight raid, Iraqui forces managed to get the betterof a fully armed militia group in their first raid against groups accused of anti-US rocket attacks, Iraqi officials said early Friday.

This daring operation is also a reflection of Iraq’s Prime Minister Mustafa-al-Khadimi’s efforts to curtail down all the activities involving these terror and militia groups. Government sourcestold DPA news agency the operation “aims at enforcing security, tracking armed groups that fuel violence and occasionally strike at official buildings.”

“Based on intelligence information, a CTS unit raided a base used by Brigade 45, seizing three rocket launchers and arresting 13 fighters,” one of the officials said.

There have been four attacks on the Iraqi military bases and Bhagdad’s green zone in past two weeks are supposedly an attack on the American forces in that area. It is being said that one of the detainees is an Iranian expert who specializes in missile engineering and guidance and leader of Badr Organisation, Hadi al-Amiri intervened in the process of his arrest and sought release.

But more importantly, Iraq’s aggressive move to show their military over Iran’s militia group is a statement made in itself that no one should be above the law, at least that is what Prime Minister Mustafa would seemed to convey

Al Gore has history of climate predictions, statements proven false

Noted climate activist and former Vice President Al Gore, who made headlines this week after he claimed   global warming was "boiling the oceans,"   has a history of making climate-related proclamations later proven to be false. During remarks made Wednesday at the  World Economic Forum summit  in Davos, Switzerland, Gore warned that continued carbon emissions into the atmosphere would destroy the planet and lead to widespread calamities. "We’re still putting 162 million tons [of greenhouse gas] into it every single day and the accumulated amount is now trapping as much extra heat as would be released by 600,000 Hiroshima-class atomic bombs exploding every single day on the earth," Gore said. "That’s what’s boiling the oceans, creating these atmospheric rivers, and the rain bombs, and sucking the moisture out of the land, and creating the droughts, and melting the ice and raising the sea level, and causing these waves of climate refugees."
